I don't think the first reviewer gets the idea behind 8bit music...But, to be honest, some of the guitar stuff seemed harsher & more dissonent than the Game Boy sounds, to me. Not a bad song, but perhaps a bit on the long side. I'm not sure. It may work as a jammin' sort of thing.

I don't think so either, oh well. There was only one part in the song were i really wanted the dissonance to be. That was the guitar at about 2:02. I just wanted it to build up that section very harshly then end on the lighter side of the song. Cant win 'em all i guess. This was my first attempt with 8-bit. I plan on making more centered around space-based imagery.

For a solo, it works. Very soundtracky. Choir is rather canned sounding, though.

Most media players have a loop mode, & if that doesn't work for you, you can always use the "repeat x amount of times" feature in Audacity.

Chip Tune!

I always get nostalgic when I hear chiptunes. I quite like this one, except for the main theme bit (that part that ends the song). Maybe it just need time to grow on me. But the sounds & pulsing bass rhythm are fun. What do you mean, though "gonna be made from scratch"? Is this one a remix or something?

The breaks to quieter bits help. Anything that helps keep a song from being nothing but one long techno riff is a good thing, in my book.

Grand Journey

I like the sliding pads that come in at about 45 seconds. This track is pretty close to that sort of "travelling" feel I like. Perhaps, though, some of the backing percussion is a bit too same-y.
