Fairly well done, doesn't really do anything for me. I heard it in the Zombie Canyon game, it was a poor fit (but you can't really be blamed for that).

hmmm...I noticed a few of your reviews about a various of other creations on NG...doesn't seems like any of em were good enough for you, so maybe you should seek in other websites? you don't have to write a pretty useless review on anything you see =/

It feels like it needs to be developed some more, as it doesn't have much in the way of resolution/climax. There's a build-up, but it doesn't seem to go anywhere.
Of course, you don't have to follow traditional song structure at all, but an interesting arrangement of some sort always helps.
Thanks for the advice :-)

Not bad by "first song ever" standards. It's better than my first song ever (which consisted of me making yelping noises along to a samba beat).
Thanks!

A bit repetitive in places, but there is potential in it.
Thanks. You know, i played everything on the piano when i was making the song.

Nothing really reaches out & grabs my attention in this song or strikes me as incredibly unique, but then I also can't find anything overtly wrong with it, & it has it's moments...
Well I'm still learning FL Studio,so I will get better in time =]
Thanks for the review it helps =D

I'm going to disagree with some of the other reviewers. This song doesn't strike me so much as "spooky, but hurt by a beat" as "beaty, enhanced by some spookiness".
Alright, as much sense as that could possibly make. I belief your right. The beat is waay to 'loud/hard' for real spookyness. But if i wouldn;'t the song would simply fall apart and then it would sound worse :/.

One of the problems I usually have with NG music (among other things) is that the instruments sound very "freeware" (if you get my drift), & mixing/mastering is ignored. This song, while maybe not quite at the level of the pros (in this case I'm talking Hollywood film soundtracks), does have a nice "full" sound to it, at least on first listen. The only instrument that really struck me as off was the cymbal crash sound that came in mid-way in. It sounded more like garbage can lids being hit together, or something of that variety. While this would work fine in a song with a strange or lofi aesthetic, it seems a bit out of place in something like this track. Other than that, you did a pretty good job with the synths (samples?), I think.
Thanks very much! Thats an excellent review. Ive been trying to go for that full sound for a while, and I although I have not reached it yet, im trying as much as I can. Thanks again. :)

You did well with the time signature changes, which I've heard other artists totally fail at in the past. The use of orchestral sounds feels natural, & not forced (again, a problem I hear in a fair few electronic songs). I give it - 7/10.
Thanks :D Yeah I don't do the time changes so much so but I do know how to throw a good orchestral / electronic blend together. Again thanks for the critique!
A start
You've got a pretty good beginning here, but it clearly isn't finished. When it ended. it felt like something new would come in to make the song "bigger".
I find, when I'm really stuck at a song that isn't too far along, the best thing to do is to that the rhythm/melodies that speak most to me & make them into something entirely new.
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm working on, I'm deconstructing it and rebuilding it to find that right sound, but for now I've got nothing. Thanks for reviewing.
Very Atmospheric
This song creates a strong visual image. My main complaint is that some of the choir & strings sounds a bit too "Synthy".
Thank you ! I've done better with the choir and strings, though synths can never replace the real thing..
